"Before & After" article
Ch. 3 Exercise 4
History.com is a website that provides an academic discipline of the past. HISTORY is also a TV series that has now been adapted to different forms of presentations. It offers far more than news and notes on events, but also videos. It presents the study of history, which essentially means there are stories to read as well.
"This Day in History" is a cool bonus to History.com because it works with a wide range of writers and editors to create accurate and informative content that has happened. Ideally, one can access the website, select any date from any year, and find content on it that is historically accurate.
I chose HISTORY because I found sometimes the site can get wordy. It helps to create a formatted list in my opinion and THEN allow readers to select of which story they seem most interested in. Currently, if you go to their This Day in History it will pop up with an event that occurred on the "today's date." What I suggest needs to be edited is the insertion of bullet points. A consumer should be able to type "this day in history" into a search engine (Google) and click on the website that then takes them to a page formated in chronological order.
I find this website to be captivating and something I look up from time to time, therefore, I thought my take on this edit was worth sharing for this website. If you get the chance, I encourage readers to take a look at the date on which I posted this blog, which is down below.
Before:
Take a look at today, June 5th
