All about Pinterest
Ch 3. Exercise 2
What is Pinterest?
"Pinterest is a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and more."
It is a search engine where users can view, post, and share their own "interest" to things. Instead of "retweeting" or "posting," Pinterest allows one to 'pin' their interest, essentially creating their company's name. Creative right? Like most websites or apps, Pinterest has a homepage, made up of people or boards you follow, a personal profile, and of course a search bar.
The content available for viewers is up to the user themselves. One can find anything ranging from at-home workouts to what to do when your dog throws up. It covers just about anything.
